6.5　Main Control Room and Electronic Equipment Room

6.5.1　The central control room should be shared by multiple units.The devices,instrument panels,and interspaces in central control room and electronic equipment room should be arranged in a compact and rational manner for ease of operation and maintenance.

6.5.2　The central control room and electronic equipment room shall each be provided with at least two accesses,with the clearance height no less than 3.5m and 3.2m respectively.Measures for good airconditioning,lighting,thermal insulation,dust prevention,fireproof,waterproof,vibration prevention and noise prevention shall be provided for the central control room and electronic equipment room.There may be a cable mezzanine provided below the central control room and electronic equipment room,in which case the section of the mezzanine immediately adjacent to the main power house shall be enclosed.

6.5.3　The central control room,electronic equipment room,and cable mezzanine shall be provided with fire fighting alarming and signaling devices,and no piping delivering steam,water,oil and harmful gas is allowed to cross them.The central control room and electronic equipment room shall be provided with monolithic rigid waterproof roofs.

6.5.4　Central control building may be provided where central control room and electronic equipment room centrally arranged.One central control building should be provided for two units,and arranged between the two boilers.If the actual conditions permit,the central control building may extend into the deaerator and coal bunker bay.Alternatively,the central control room and electronic equipment room may be centrally arranged at the operating floor of deaerator bay or coal bunker bay.

6.5.5　If central control room and electronic equipment room are arranged separately,one such room should serve two or above units,and should be arranged at the fixed end of the main power house or other suitable positions；the electronic equipment rooms may be discretely arranged close to the controlled objects.
