6.4　Arrangement of Boiler

6.4.1　The boilers should be arranged outdoors or semi-outdoors.In severely cold or windy and sandy regions,the boilers should be enclosed with tight housings.

6.4.2　For outdoor or semi-outdoor boilers,their operating floors should be of island structure or steel grating platform type.If the coal feeders of fan mill pulverizing system are arranged around boiler furnace,the coal feeder floor should be of a monolithic reinforced concrete platform.If the lower part of boiler proper,or the auxiliary devices installed at the bottom floor of boiler house are not suitable to be arranged outdoors,the operating floor and below may be enclosed as appropriate.For the boilers enclosed with tight housings,the operating floors should be in the form of monolithic reinforced concrete platform.

6.4.3　For outdoor or semi-outdoor boilers,if it is necessary to arrange operating areas in front of boiler at the operating floor,the lower part of boiler front may be enclosed properly.

6.4.4　The boiler front space should be as compact as possible,provided that the requirements for the arrangement,installation,operation,and maintenance of equipment and piping are met.If the actual conditions permit,the columns in front of boiler may be combined with the columns in coal bunker bay.

6.4.5　The main auxiliary equipment of boiler shall be arranged in accordance with the following requirements:

1　The precipitators shall be arranged outdoors with appropriate measures in place to prevent ash hoppers from dewing；in severely cold regions,the lower part of precipitator shall be enclosed.

2　In severely cold regions,the induced draft fans,forced draft fans,and primary air fans shall be arranged indoors.

3　The auxiliary equipment arranged outdoor shall be provided with anti-noise measures with motors fully enclosed.
