Summary

In this chapter, we started our learning of Informatica architecture. You learned about various services, such as domain, node, repository service, and integration service. Then, we configured various services on the Informatica administrator console. We also created the user, and assigned roles and privileges. Lastly, we configured the Repository Manager client screen and added a user to the client.

In the next chapter, you will learn about the basic aspects of Informatica PowerCenter client tools. All the remaining chapters will teach you various developer-related aspects of Informatica PowerCenter.
