Summary

In this chapter, we learned how to perform a fresh install of a vRealize Operations 6.6 instance and subsequently add additional nodes. We learned how to configure HA and what load balancer settings need to be implemented for the vRealize Operations cluster. After that, we configured user access control to vRealize Operations. We installed our first solution and started monitoring our environment. We showed how to configure notifications to send out emails when an alert gets generated. We also covered how to upgrade from vRealize Operations 6.2.

In the next chapter, we will cover the iconic vRealize Operations badge systems.
