1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This Code is formulated with a view to standardizing the design of pipe extrusion engineering，advancing the pipe-extrusion technology and equipment in China and guaranteeing the engineering quality as well.

1.0.2　This Code is applicable to the design of construction，extension and renovation of pipe extrusion engineering.

1.0.3　The pipe extrusion engineering mentioned in provision 1.0.2 shall fully implement the national industry development policies and policies stressing on high quality，high efficiency，energy saving and environmental protection.

1.0.4　The design of pipe-extrusion engineering shall comply with not only the requirements stipulated in this Code，but also those in the current relevant ones of the nation.
