Foreword

This Code is developed by Capital Engineering & Research Incorporation Limited（CERI）in conjunction with other relevant organizations according to the requirements of Document Jian Biao［2009］NO.88 issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development，P.R.China（MOHURD）-"Notice on Printing the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards in 2009".

The preparation panel made an in-depth study and concluded experiences in pipe extrusion engineering in China during formulating the Code.As results of widely consulting domestic extruded-pipe producers，design institutes，raw material suppliers，end-users，equipment manufacturers，authorities concerned，professional associations and experts in this field，and based on studying and absorbing experiences well-proven in many years at home and abroad by taking into account the current engineering practice in China，this Code was examined and approved after repeated discussions and conscientious modifications.

This Code comprises 12 chapters with the main contents including general provisions，terms，basic requirement，raw material，producing process，equipment，production capacity calculation，layout and process plant，electrical automation，auxiliary system，main economical and technical target and security &environmental protection.

The provisions printed in bold type in this standard are compulsory and must be enforced strictly.

MOHURD is in charge of the administration of this standard（code）and the explanation of the compulsory provisions.China Metallurgical Construction Association takes responsibility for routine management，and CERI is responsible for explaining the technical details.All relevant organizations are kindly requested to sum up experiences by taking into account their own engineering practices during the process of implementing this Code.If any amendment and addition is found necessary，please mail your comments and suggestions to the Code Administration Office of CERI（Address:No.7 Jiananjie，Beijing Economic & Technical Development Area；Post code:100176）for references in future revision.
