9.6　Furnace Cover，Electrode Rotating Mechanism and Furnace Cover Lifting Mechanism

9.6.1　The base shall be installed according to the following requirements:

1　The base shall be installed on the concrete foundation according to the following requirements:

1）The longitudinal and horizontal center lines of the base shall be adjusted，and the measurement by plumb wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm.The deviation direction shall be consistent with that of the cradle.

2）The elevation of the base shall be adjusted，and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of±2.0mm.

3）The levelness of the base shall be adjusted，and the measurement by leveler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 0.10/1000.

2　The base shall be installed on the cradle according to the following requirements:

1）The cradle shall remain horizontal state.

2）The levelness of the base shall be adjusted，and the measurement by leveler should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 0.10/1000.

3）The tightening force of the connecting bolts for the base and the cradle shall comply with the requirement of the design technical document.

9.6.2　The rotating transmission device shall be installed according to the requirement of the design technical document.

9.6.3　For the installation of the electrode guide frame，its verticality shall be adjusted，and the measurement by suspension wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 0.20/1000.The connecting bolts for the guide frame and the rotating device shall be tightened by torque wrench with the tightening force conforming to the requirement of the design technical document.

9.6.4　For the installation of furnace cover lifting mechanism，the superposition of the axes of lifting hydraulic cylinder and lifting connecting rod shall be adjusted，and the measurement by plumb wire should be carried out，with the allowable deviation of 1.0mm.
