9.5 Furnace Body
9.5.1 The assembly of furnace shell shall comply with the requirement of the design technical document or the written technical instruction of the supplier's site representative.In case of no requirement in the design technical document,the written technical instruction of the supplier's field representative and the following requirements shall be complied with:
1 The lower furnace shell should be assembled on the assembly platform,while the upper shell should be assembled on the assembled lower shell.
2 The furnace shell shall be assembled according to the equipment drawings and the marks by manufacturer,which shall be checked according to the requirement of the design technical document or the following requirements in case of no requirement in the document.
1)The diameter of furnace body shall be with the allowable deviation of±10mm,and the measurement by ruler should be carried out.
2)The upper mouths of lower furnace shells shall be at the same horizontal plane and with the height allowable deviation of 10.0mm,which should be measured by optical instrument.
3)The upper mouths of upper furnace shells shall be at the same horizontal plane and with the height allowable deviation of 10.0mm,which should be measured by optical instrument.
4)The verticality of furnace body shall be with the allowable deviation of 2.0/1000,and the measurement by suspension wire should be carried out.
3 The length,thickness and distance of tack welds shall ensure that the welds cannot get cracked during formal welding operation.
4 Prior to welding of furnace shell,the corresponding WPQ shall be carried out and the operation instruction for welding shall be prepared based on the WPQ report.The welding shall be carried out in strict accordance with the instruction.
5 The deformation during welding shall be monitored and controlled.
6 The appearance quality of welds shall conform to related requirements of current national standard Code for Installation Acceptance of Steel-making Mechanical Equipment GB 50403.
7 The internal quality of welds shall conform to related requirements of current national standard Code for Installation Acceptance of Steel-making Mechanical Equipment GB 50403.
8 The requirements and procedures of postweld heat treatment of welding seams shall conform to related requirements of current national standard Code for Installation Acceptance of Steel-making Mechanical Equipment GB 50403.
9.5.2 The lower furnace shell shall be installed according to the following requirements:
1 The longitudinal and horizontal center lines shall be adjusted,and the measurement by plumb wire should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of 2.0mm.
2 The elevation shall be adjusted,and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of±5.0mm.
3 The plainness of upper mouth shall be adjusted,and the measurement by optical instrument should be carried out,with the allowable deviation of 10.0mm.
4 The leg,spacer and cradle of furnace shell shall be tightly contacted,and the measurement by feeler gauge should be carried out with the local clearance of not larger than 1.0mm.
5 In case of installation of lower furnace shell,the cradle shall be at"0"position.
9.5.3 The expansion clearance between the leg of furnace shell and the positioning guard board shall meet the requirement of the design technical document.
9.5.4 The water cooling wall shall be arranged and assembled in accordance with the requirement of the design technical document.The metal hose for water inlet and outlet shall hang freely without any distortion or damage.
9.5.5 The water cooling system shall be subject to hydrostatic test and flushing test according to the design technical document,or the following requirements in case of no related requirement in the document:
1 The hydrostatic test and flushing test shall be carried out prior to masonry work.
2 The test pressure shall be 1.5 times of working pressure.Booster the pressure up to the test pressure and hold for 10min,and then lower it to the working pressure and hold for 30min.The test is qualified if there is no leakage and pressure fall.
3 For the flushing test,the water shall be able to flow in and out smoothly and freely for at least 24h,without any leakage.
