1　General Provisions

1.0.1　In order to make continuous casting engineering in accordance with the regulations of applicable technological policy and relevant various standards of the state and industry，unify the engineering construction standard，improve the engineering quality and realize the technical advancement，economic rationality，energy conservation and environment protection，safety and reliability，and convenient management，this code is prepared.

1.0.2　This code is suitable for new，revamped and expanded continuous casting engineering.

1.0.3　Continuous casting engineering shall seriously carry out the policy of national iron and steel industry development，insist on the principle of cleaner production and circular economy，improve the level of environment protection and comprehensive resource utilization，save energy and reduce the consumption.Based on continuous summarization of production practice experience，the proven and reliable new technology，new process，new material and new equipment shall be positively adopted，the technical design level shall be improved and the project cost and operation cost shall be reduced.

1.0.4　In addition to conformity to this code，continuous casting engineering shall be also in accordance with the regulations of applicable relevant national standards.
