3.3　Storage

3.3.1　Identification works shall be done after pipeline components have passed the inspection acceptance，and classification to deposit according to the product type，material and specification.

3.3.2　Pipe components should be stored in warehouse or shed well ventilated，temperature should be no more than 40℃and should be far away from heat source.Stacked place shall be free of sharp objects which may damage pipe components，and no exposure or rain damage would be allowed.

3.3.3　Pipe components shall not be stored together with oil or chemical hybrid products.

3.3.4　Tubes shall be piled up on support or ground with a flat level.

3.3.5　When a triangular form or side support protection of rectangular pile needed for pipe stacking，the height should not be more than 1.5 m，and stacked layers shall comply with the following requirements:

1　OD≥300mm，there should be no more than 3 layers；

2　OD＜300mm，there should be no more than 5 layers.

3.3.6　When stratified shelf used for pipe storing，the height of each shelf layer shall be no more than 1m and the total stacked height shall not be over 3m.

3.3.7　Pipe fittings can be stored as in boxes or on the shelf.If placed on the ground，its stacked height shall not be over 1.5m.

3.3.8　Pipe components shall be used during the storage effective period.
