4.4 Steam Turbine Proper Erection

4.4.1 Bearing pedestal and pad erection.

Applicable scope:applicable to erection of ST proper bearing,thrust bearing,bearing pedestal,with the following inspection items:bearing pedestal in place and alignment,pad and oil baffle gap adjustment,thrust bearing gap adjustment,bearing pedestal covering.

1 Bearing pedestal in place and alignment inspection and acceptance are given in Table 4.4.1-1.

Applicable scope:applicable to ST proper cylinder and rotor cleaning and inspection,with the following inspection items:LP cylinder cleaning and inspection,HP/IP cylinder cleaning and inspection,Inner casing steam admission pipe cleaning and inspection,HP/IP cylinder nozzle chamber,diaphragm(carrier ring),steam seal(bushing)inspection,LP cylinder steam admission chamber,diaphragm(carrier ring),steam seal(bushing)inspection.
