1　General Provisions

1.0.1　This code is formulated with a view to improve the quality，and to unify the quality acceptance standards，of the reheating furnaces in iron and steel works，and to make sure that these furnaces to achieve the required performance.

1.0.2　This code is applicable to the construction，extension and renovation of certain types of reheating furnaces in iron and steel works such as pusher type，walking beam type，walking hearth type，rotary hearth type and bottom car type，etc.

1.0.3　The quality acceptance of the reheating furnaces in iron and steel works shall comply with the requirements stipulated in this code，and shall also comply with relevant codes and standards of the nation.
