4.6　Blasting Gear Storage and Plant

4.6.1　The location of blasting gear storage and plant shall be determined during the general plan of the mine and reported to the competent authorities for approval.

4.6.2　The safety distance between the blasting gear storage and plant and the external facilities shall meet the relevant requirements of current national standard GB 50089 Safety Code for Design of Engineering of Civil Explosives Materials，GB 6722 Safety Regulation for Blasting and GB 50154 Safety Code for Design of Underground and Earth Covered Magazine of Powders and Explosives.

4.6.3　Blasting gear storage should be located in such areas in the valley as with favorable engineering geological condition and low groundwater level，suffering no debris flow and mountain torrents，and no buildings built at the remote depth of the valley or at the valley mouth，and shall use natural hills as the barrier wherever possible.

4.6.4　Rational attention shall be paid to slelecting the right landform for the blasting gear plant to be located，which shall be in the area with natural barriers.Dangerous articles production area should be arranged at an appropriate place inside the plant and shall not be located in the narrow valley with steep slope.The dangerous article warehouse，explosion test field and disposal field should be arranged in the remote or boundary area.

4.6.5　Unauthorized people flow and material flow shall not be allowed to pass through the dangerous article production area and the dangerous article wharehouse area.During transportation，the dangerous articles should not pass through the residential area.
