接听电话 Answering Phone Calls

工作中我们经常需要与对方在电话中进行沟通,因此掌握必备的电话交流方式会帮助我们顺畅地与对方沟通,从而提高工作效率。

Lisa: Hello, thank you for calling IBM. This is Lisa speaking. How may I help you?

John: Hello, Lisa. My name is John. May I speak to David, please?

Lisa: Sorry. He is in a meeting now. Would you like to leave a message? I’ll ask him to return your call as soon as possible.

John: That would be OK. Or could you please tell me his extension number? I’ll call him again when he is available.

Lisa: With pleasure. His extension number is 222-357.

John: 222-357, right?

Lisa: Yes. You may call him at 3 p.m. as the meeting will be at an end then.

John: Thank you very much.

丽萨:您好,欢迎致电 IBM 公司。我是丽萨,请问有什么需要帮助的吗?

约翰:你好,丽萨。我叫约翰。我可以和大卫通话吗?

丽萨:抱歉,他现在正在开会。您需要留言吗?我会转告他尽快给您回电话。

需要对方捎信则可以说:

Could you take a message for me?

你可以帮我捎个信吗?

③ I’ll ask him to call you back as soon as possible.

我会转告他尽快给您回电话。

= I’ll ask him to return your call as soon as possible.

④ It’s urgent. Could I have her mobile phone number?

事情紧急,可以告诉我她的手机号吗?

= It’s an emergency. Could I have her mobile phone number?

= Could you please tell me her mobile phone number as there’s something urgent?

⑤ Sorry, I can’t understand you.

对不起,我听不懂你在说什么。

= Sorry, I didn’t get what you said.

⑥ I can’t hear you well.

我听不太清楚你说话。

= I’m having trouble (in) hearing you well.

·have trouble (in) doing sth. 做某事有困难

⑦ We have a bad connection.

我们这信号不太好。

·bad connection 信号不好

⑧ Please connect me with extension one-one-one.

请帮我转分机 1-1-1.

= Could you please put me through to extension one-one-one?

⑨ Do you know when he will be back?

你知道他什么时候回来吗?

如果知道被找的人何时回来,可这样回答:

He should be back in 30 minutes.

他应该半小时内回来。

如果不清楚,则可这样回答:

I’m sorry. I don’t know.

对不起,我不清楚。

★在电话沟通中,我们经常会遇到打错电话或者听不清楚对方在讲什么的情况,那么,此时我们该如何化解尴尬呢?

(1)打错电话时,我们可以说:

I’m sorry. I have the wrong number. 抱歉我打错电话了。

= I’m sorry. I think I have dialed the wrong number.

(2)听不清楚对方在讲什么,请求对方再说一遍时,我们可以说:

Pardon? 请再说一遍好吗?

= Pardon me? = Excuse me? = I beg your pardon? = Could you please repeat that? = Could you please say that again?

(3)听不清楚对方在讲什么,请求对方声音大一点或说慢一点时,我们可以说:

Could you speak a bit louder?

请大点声好吗?

= Could you speak up a little?

Could you please speak more slowly?

请说慢一点好吗?

= Would you slow down, please?
