3 Pole Line Survey
3.1 Pole Line Route Determination
3.1.1 The route of aerial communication pole line shall meet the requirements of YD 5102 Design Specifications for Telecommunication Cable Line Engineering.
3.1.2 The pole line routing shall kept away the following places:
1 In the vicinity of inflammable and explosive areas,important bridges,ferries and military facilities,etc;
2 The flood submerged areas,low-lying areas liable to waterlogging,swamps or saline lake areas and severe chemical corrosion areas;
3 Forests,high mountains and lofty hills,strong wind lookout and severe ice zone;
4 The areas where are affected on communication by high voltage power lines,electric railway and radar station,etc;
5 Areas where Landscape is required.
3.1.3 Pole line setting shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Field pole route shall be erected along the traffic lines,pole line shall be set outside of traffic line,as well keeping a certain parallel spacing distance;
2 The pole line should be set out of the road boundary in 15m-50m;and shall be set outside to the red line of the railway boundary while being close to the railway.At the curves of railway or road,the pole line may be appropriate to take a straight forward on the way,it may be appropriate to make a detour avoidance while meeting an obstacles,but it should not be exceed 200m away from the road usually.
3 Pole line position in urban area shall be set on the sidewalk of road(or planning road)and in agreement with city construction department,it shall be avoided crossing houses and other buildings;Communication lines should not set on the same roadside with power lines usually;
4 The new constructed pole line route shall not affected to the construction and operation safe of the existing communication lines;if there are have any actual difficult to implement,it should be treated by the article 1.0.10.
3.1.4 Crisscrossing between pole line and railway,road,river shall be in accordance with the following requirements:
1 Crossing with railway or highway,underground passing way shall be chose firstly,pushed pipe,burial pipe or culvert passing may be adopted;
2 Crisscrossing between pole line and navigable river or wider river,the first consideration is passing through on the bridge,the methods of underwater optical(copper)cable or Micro controlled directional drilling pipe may be used etc also;
3 Passing through above steel pipe or hard plastic conduct,the structure of the outer sheath of optical(copper)cable may not be changed.
3.1.5 Pole line shall be vertical crossing with the power line 35kV above,and if it is impossible to vertical crossing,the minimum crossing angle shall not be less than 45°.
3.1.6 The aerial optical(copper)cables must be passing through below the power line,the spacing distance between the suspension wire of first layer of optical(copper)cable and the lowest layer of power line from power pole shall be in accordance with those specified in Table 3.1.6.

Notes:1 The data is taking from Code for Construction and Acceptance of 110-500kV Overhead Transmission Line GB 50233.
2 This data is taking from Code for Design of 110 kV-750kV overhead Transmission Line GB 50545.
3 This data is taking from Code for Design of 1000kV Overhead Transmission Line GB 50665.
4 If the power subscriber line is coated,the optical(copper)cable can also cross above this power line.
5 Under special circumstance the optical(copper)cable must cross in above,the installation for poles on both sides of the crossing span and suspension wire shall be strengthened with protection devices.
3.1.7 Communication line must not be crossing with electric railway or tram trolley network in aerial case.
