Foreword

This Code is developed by Sinopec Engineering Incorporation in cooperation with other involved organizations according to the requirements of Document（JIANBIAO〔2008〕No.105）issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development（MOHURD）-Notice on Printing and Distributing"the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards（2ndGroup）in 2008".

In preparing this Code，the development team has carried out extensive investigations，summarized the engineering practices，made reference to the advanced codes and standards in China and abroad，requested and consolidated comments from relevant organizations，discussed and studied the main issues，and then finalized this Code after reviewing.

This Code consists of 9 chapters and 3 appendixes，covering general provisions，terms，plant site selection and general planning，general layout，inter-block corridor arrangement，grading plan，roads，railway and greening.

The provisions printed in bold type are mandatory ones and must be implemented strictly.
