Announcement of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development of the People s Republic of China on Issuing the National Standard Code for Seismic Design of Electrical Installations

Code for Seismic Design of Electrical Installations is hereby approved as a Chinese national standard with a serial number of GB 50260-2013，and will come into effect on September 1，2013.Articles 1.0.3，1.0.7，1.0.8，1.0.10，3.0.6，3.0.8，3.0.9，5.0.1，5.0.3，5.0.4，and 7.1.2 are compulsory provisions and must be enforced strictly.The former edition GB 50260-96 Code for Design of Seismic of Electrical Installations will be abolished till then.

This Code is published by the China Planning Press as entrusted by the Research Institute of Standards and Norms of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People s Republic of China.
