Conclusion

Automation is an important activity in the DevOps life cycle. Automation can bring results in DevOps if practiced early. In this chapter, we discussed Early integration and automating by default. Automation should focus on all activities—design/build and deploy. Metrics to track automation have been discussed. Best practices in early adoption and continuous automation have been presented.
