How to do it...
The following steps will show you how to create an NSX transport zone:
- Navigate to Networking & Security | Installation | Logical Network Preparation
- In the center pane, select the transport zone tab and click the green + plus button to open the New Transport Zone dialog box.
- Input the transport zone Name, optionally input the Description, select the applicable Replication mode, and select all the vSphere clusters that will be part of the transport zone. Additional vSphere clusters can be added later by editing the transport zone. Review the settings and click OK:
- To verify the vSphere cluster members, double click the newly created transport zone and click on the Manage tab to show the vSphere clusters:
