8　Layout and Process Plant

8.1　The Site of Plant

8.1.1　The plant should be located in an area where receives a minimum pollution impact in the complex.

8.1.2　The plant location shall adapt to incoming direction of raw material and outgoing direction of end products，and avoid creation of crossing traffic in the complex as well.

8.1.3　The vertical extrusion plant should be close to ingot stripping shop of steelmaking plant.

8.1.4　The plant should be arranged perpendicularly to the dominant wind direction.

8.1.5　The Engineering geological conditions shall be surveyed while allocating the plant.The main equipment of extrusion press should be installed in a place where the soil is homogeneous with high pressure resistance.

8.1.6　The hydrological conditions shall also be surveyed while allocating the plant，which should not be in a place under the threat of mountain torrents.In case of inevitability，the flood control measures shall be taken.
