Foreword

This Code is developed by Sinopec Nanjing Engineering & Construction Inc.in cooperation with other involved organizations in accordance with the requirements of Document JIANBIAO〔2007〕No.126 issued by original Ministry of Construction（MOC）of the People's Republic of China-"Notice on Printing and Distributing'the Development and Revision Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards（2nd Group）in 2007'"，this code is developed by Sinopec Nanjing Engineering & Construction Inc.in cooperation with other involved organizations.

In preparing this Code，the development team made extensive investigations and studies，summarized the engineering practices，made reference to relevant international standards and widely-adopted foreign standards.On the basis of broadly requesting comments，this Code was reviewed and finalized.

This Code consists of 8 chapters and 3 appendixes，covering:General Provisions，terms，Prevention of Static Accumulation and Discharge，Prevention of Dust Explosion，Design of Silo Internals Structure，Silo Accessory Devices，Prevention of Body Static Discharge and Prevention of Silo Ignition and Flame Spread.

The provisions printed in bold type are mandatory ones and must be implemented strictly.

This code is under the jurisdiction of，and its mandatory provisions are interpreted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China.China Petrochemical Corporation（Sinopec Group）is responsible for its routine management，and Sinopec Nanjing Engineering &Construction Inc.is in charge of the explanation of technical specifications.During implementation of this Code，any comments and recommendations should be submitted to Sinopec Nanjing Engineering &Construction Inc.（Address:1189 Kejian Road，Jiangning District，Nanjing，Jiangsu Province，211100）for future revision of this Code.
