4.5　Signalman

4.5.1　Signalman shall well understand and execute the lifting method statement.

4.5.2　Signalman shall stand at a position where all posts can be directly instructed.Command signals for lifting operations shall be standardized，accurate and clear as specified in the Commanding signals for lifting and moving GB 5082.Where the sight of a signalman is obstructed，accurate command signals shall be transferred via joint commanding in a timely manner.Communication tools shall be provided if whistles from signalman cannot be heard clearly.

4.5.3　Lifting personnel shall be conversant with command signals for lifting.

4.5.4　Lifting personnel shall operate according to the orders from the signalman，and shall not perform any lifting operation or leave their positions without permission.
