5.5　The Machine Train Grouting

5.5.1　Embedded anchor bolts shall be installed in accordance with the following requirements：

a）The smooth rod of anchor bolt is clean without oil dirt and scale，and threaded portion applied with a little of grease；

b）Anchor bolts shall be installed vertically；

c）Anchor bolt shall not touch the bottom of the hole and any part of the bolt，and is not less than 15mm away from the wall of hole；

d）After tightening nut，exposed part of the bolt shall be 2-4 thread pitches；

e）Nuts and washers，washers and base shall contact well；

f）Anchor bolts shall be evenly tightened after the concrete strength reaches above 75% of design strength.

5.5.2　In addition to the above requirements，the throughout-type anchor bolt shall comply with the following requirements：

a）Apply antirust paint on the smooth rod of anchor bolt and anchor plate；

b）Adopt fixed welding between steel anchor plate and nut；

c）If anchor plates are directly welded to anchor bolts，the height of fillet weld shall not be less than 1/2 threaded rod diameter；

d）If countersunk anchor bolts are used，the top shall be 2mm-3mm lower than base top.

5.5.3　Anchor bolt holes（primary grouting）of the machine train shall be grouted in accordance with the following requirements：

a）Conduct primary grouting after preliminary alignment of the machine train；

b）Clean preformed holes，wet it up with water for 12 hours and then remove water accumulated.Any oil fouling is not allowed；

c）The anchor bolt part embedded in the concrete shall have no rust，paint and oil stain；

d）For anchor bolt with anchor plate，the preformed hole is grouted with 100mm thickness at the top and bottom with cement mortar and the middle part is filled with dry sand.The threaded rod part contacting with dry sand shall be applied with anti-rust paint；

e）Start the concrete curing within 4hours after final setting of concrete grouted.

5.5.4　The secondary grouting shall comply with the following requirements：

a）Conduct the secondary grouting within 24hours test after secondary alignment of the machine train.If exceeding 24hours，recheck the alignment；

b）The secondary grouting of large-sized foundation may be conducted in sections，but each section must be completed at one time.It shall not pour in layers and leave construction joints；

c）Set up formwork inside and outside the baseplate of the equipment and isolate the adjusting screws；

d）Wash out the grouting position with water，wet for over 12hours and then clean it by purging；

e）Use non-shrinkage grouting material for secondary grouting；

f）The secondary grouting layer shall be constructed as per the provisions of the technical documents of grouting material and the height shall be 100mm higher than base bottom；

g）After expiration of secondary grouting curing period，install dial indicators respectively near the anchor bolt of the baseplate and on each coupling，loosen the adjusting screws on the baseplate and tighten the anchor bolt.The baseplate shall sink less than 0.05mm；

h）Take anti-loose measures after finally fastening.
