4.4　Foundation Inspection，Re-measurement and Surface Treatment

4.4.1　Before the machine train installation，the civil constructor shall submit the foundation handover documents and then the owner/supervisor shall organize the erector and civil constructor to inspect and accept the foundation.After inspection is accepted，transact the handover procedure.

4.4.2　The handover documents shall contain：

a）Technical documents，such as actual measurement reports of foundation center position，elevation，outline dimensions and etc；

b）Report for foundation concrete strength；

Initial report for observation of foundation settlement.

4.4.3　Elevation datum line，transversal and axial centerline and preformed opening centerline shall be provided on the foundation，coordinates and elevation datum point shall be provided on the building.And the settlement observation points shall be provided on the foundation.

4.4.4　Foundation quality shall conform to SH 3510.The appearance shall have no cracks，honeycombs，cavity，bared bar and other defects.

4.4.5　Foundation shall be re-inspected per design documents.The allowable deviations of dimensions and positions shall meet the requirements of Table 4.4.5.

4.4.6　The surface of the foundation shall be treated and comply with the following requirements：

a）Shovel off the secondary grouting loose layer，chip it into pitted surface with the pocks no less than 10mm in depth and density 3points/dm2-5points/dm2.Clean the surface after chipping；

b）Mark out positions of supporting plates or shims；

c）Treat the surface where the supporting plates or shims are installed in accordance with SH/T 3538；

d）Remove gravels，mud，debris and accumulated water out of non-throughout anchor bolt holes.

4.4.7　The threads of embedded anchor bolt shall be in good condition.
