4 Preparations for Construction
4.1 Technical Preparations
4.1.1 The following technical documents shall be available prior to installation.
a)Engineering design documents;
b)Product technical documents;
c)Technical agreement of the supply and relevant minutes of meetings;
d)Construction technical documents.
4.1.2 Product technical documents shall include at least the following data and information:
a)List of machine train unit and packing list of the machine;
b)Erection,operation and maintenance manuals;
c)Assembly drawing,parts drawing,general arrangement drawing and process instrumentation diagram for each system;
d)Quality certificates of pipes,fittings,fasteners,valves with the machine;
e)Qualification certificates of the machine and accessories;
f)Records for inspection and assembly of parts;
g)Expected performance curve;
h)Records for the mechanical running test of the expander in hot state;
i)Inspection reports for chemical compositions and mechanical performance of main components and parts;
j)Non-destructive examination(NDE)reports of main components and parts;
k)Report of dynamic balance test;
l)Spare part list;
m)Other technical documents.
4.1.3 The drawings shall be reviewed prior to the construction.
4.1.4 Construction Method Statement shall be developed by erector and reviewed and approved by the owner/supervisor.
4.1.5 Persons participating in the construction shall receive technical clarification.
