1　Scope

This Specification defines the requirements for metallic piping layout，such as carbon steel，alloy steel and stainless steel piping.

This Specification is applicable to metallic piping layout，such as carbon steel，alloy steel and stainless steel piping for grassroots，revamp and expansion projects in petrochemical industry，but it is not applicable to layout of non-metallic piping and underground water supply and drainage piping.
