3.2　Baseline and Benchmark Setting up

3.2.1　Before installation of equipment，layout for baseline and benchmark shall be drawn and prepared in accordance with equipment process layout and survey control network，so as to determine locations of center reference peg and benchmark.Permanent center reference pegs and benchmarks shall be buried for center line of main axis of continuous production line and main equipment.

3.2.2　Permanent center reference pegs and permanent benchmarks（Figure 3.2.2）shall be buried firmly and well protected.

3.2.3　Baseline and benchmark survey for the entire equipment units shall be accomplished for one time.

3.2.4　Settlement observation point should be buried after inspection and handover of equipment foundation and start to observe.It is recommended that settlement should be observed at set intervals from 7 to 30 days and be drawn out its curve chart.
