6　Shears

6.1　General Requirement

6.1.1　This chapter is applicable to the mechanical equipment installation of billet shears，steel plate shears and strip shears.

6.1.2　Drive gearbox and coupling assembly of shears shall meet the requirements of technical documents and current national standard，i.e.，"General code for construction and acceptance of mechanical equipment installation engineering"（GB 50231）.
