4.7　Cantilever Roller

4.7.1　Site acceptance of the cantilever roller shall comply with the following requirements:

1　Hydraulic test shall be conducted for the cantilever roller before delivery.The test pressure shall be 1.5 times of the design pressure and kept for 15 to 20 min.If neither leakage nor deformation is found，the test result shall be accepted.

Check method:bulge test report.

Sample size:100%.

2　The heat resistant steel grade shall be marked on the prominent position of the roller.

4.7.2　Field installation acceptance of the cantilever roller shall comply with the following requirements:

1　The material quality of heat resistant steel for the charging/discharging cantilever roller shall comply with the requirements of the drawings.

2　The allowable deviations of installation acceptance of the cantilever roller shall comply with the requirements in Table 4.7.2.

4.7.3　Commissioning of cantilever roller shall comply with relevant requirements in the technical design documents or in current national standard GB 50386 Code for Acceptance of Engineering Installation for Mechanical Equipment of Rolling Mill.
