5.12　Repairing Facilities

5.12.1　The machinery repairing facilities oriented for the whole plant shall be arranged in a centralized way.The machinery repairing facility oriented for a particular shop should be arranged near the object it serves.

5.12.2　Open air storage yard and working area shall be provided near the casting shop，timber shuttering shop，rivet welding shop and etc.

5.12.3　Vibration proof distance between the shop and facility of which there are vibration prevention requirements and the forging shop shall meet the requirement of Article 5.1.11 herein；noise proof distance between the buildings and the rivet welding shop shall meet the requirements of Article 5.1.12 herein.

5.12.4　Electrical equipment and instrument repairing facilities shall be arranged at leeward side of the shops generating fume or water mist in terms of the wind direction of the least frequency in normal year.The place for accommodating transformers shall be available around the electrical equipment repairing room.

5.12.5　Locomotive and vehicle repairing facilities should be arranged in a centralized way near such working areas as exposed to a great number of the locomotives and vehicles and easy for their access to the garage.The roads（railway lines）accessing to the garage shall be kept away from the throat area where there is heavy traffic.

5.12.6　Locomotive and vehicle repairing shop shall be provided with the outdoor inspection line and the locomotive and vehicle parking line in accordance with the process requirement.

5.12.7　Truck repairing facility should be arranged according to the following requirements:

1　Truck repairing facility should be arranged in a centralized way near the working area where there are concentrated truck traffic or in the area close to boundary of the plant where the trucks are usually parked.

2　Truck repairing area should be equipped with truck washing station and refueling station，etc.

3　The truck dismounting，component repairing/machining/assembling，and engine/motor/instrument checking processes，except for tyre reconditioning operation，should be arranged in a centralized way in one building.

4　The parking space for trucks to be repaired and the storage yard for damaged truck hoppers，various vessels and worn tyres should be provided in the truck repairing area.

5.12.8　The repairing facility shall make the most of the social resources，for instance，local machinery repairing enterprises，etc.
