Long Yanhe River(with an additional poem)

Qiao Yan

The root of the water was shaking at the turbulent time

Dark clouds were pressing the mountain

When the sun was rising

Shandandan burst into bloom with stars

Dating, by the Yanhe River

Tracing the love fire of the battles

How did it fill the guns

To end the sunset of a dynasty

Between the battles

There was once birds'twitter and fragrance of flowers by the Yanhe River

You jumped into the Yanhe River

Splashing spindrift, whispering a song

Shandandan was the sister of this highland

You said:Today's youth vine

Also needs yesterday's nutrition

Baota, shining in the heart

When the twilight makes the eaves dark

Baota starts to summon us

It uses a towering torch

To gather stars'curiosity

Wrapping around the red gauze

It declares our victory

I know its light source

I understand its connotation

It grows, looking at earth mounds

It crosses the highland, touching Yanhe River

It pacifies the troops with guns

Driving away the last autumn chill

I grasp a wisp, seaming into my clothes

You grasp a wisp, sewing into your skirt

The future life with its light

Will be enrich and splendid
