北欧风格以简洁著称于世，并对后来的“极简主义”、“简约主义”、“后现代”等风格产生影响。在20世纪全球风起云涌的“工业设计”浪潮中，北欧简洁风格被推崇到极致。北欧设计没有受到巴洛克、洛可可奢华风的影响，它始终保持了淳朴自然、简洁实用的设计风格。

Nordic style is known for its concision, and it had impact on the later “Minimalism”, “Simplism” and “Post-Modernism”. In 20th century, the world was in the wave of “Industrial Design”, while the concise style of Nordic style was extremely highly praised. Scandinavian design was not subjectded to the luxurious wind of Baroque and Rococo. It always keeps the simpleand natural, concise and practical design style.
