《四境》

Bardos

作品于2007年受瑞士新音乐团委约创作，并于同年10月“武汉国际新音乐节”上首演。Bardos来自于藏语，Bardo意为“中阴”，是指“两种状态之间的间隔”，Bardos是复数形式，为几种状态之间的间隔。在藏传佛教的中阴教法中，主要指“生”“临终”“死”“转世”四种状态即“四种中阴”。作曲家则称之为“四境”。

作品从“转世”开始，逐渐走向“生”，在乐曲的高潮后进入“临终”，最后在“死”中结束。分别体现了生命诞生与逐渐成熟的力量、生存奋斗的喧嚣与躁动、以及临终的解脱与死的宁静。

The word bardo literally means “an interval between two things.” Bar means “interval” and do means “two”. In Tibetant religion, there are four Bardos: Life, Dying, Death, Reborn.

The Music begins with Reborn, and goes to Life. At the end of climax, the Dying is coming. The Music ends with Death. The composer want to describe the power of Reborn and growing up, the hurly and impetuous of Life, the extrication of Dying and the serenity of Death.
