Abstract

Through the long history of financial development, as a new financial system, Growth Enterprise Market（GEM）has only existed for 40 years.China's GEM（the ChiNext market）was j ust born for a little more than one year, while designing the development pattern of the ChiNext market, planning the future for the ChiNext market, we think we should not only analyze the development history of GEMs all over the world, to sum up gains from successful experiences, to extract lessons from unsuccessful experiences and to find inspiration from the history; but also we should analyze the deep influences cast on the development of the ChiNext market from the changes of time era backgrounds and national factors, thus we can firmly seize the future through uncertainties.
