1. It's one thing…and quite another
释 It's one matter doing this, but a very different matter doing that/often used like this: It is reasonable to do this…but very unreasonable to do that... ……是两码子事，……是一回事……是另外一回事（说明做一件事是合理的，做另外一件事却很不合理的）
例 It's one thing visiting that country but quite another living there.
去那个国家旅游是一回事，住在那儿又是另外一回事了。
2. One memory stands out
释 one memory is quite vivid/unique有一个记忆特别深刻

在美国，车辆和行人都是靠右侧通行，但在爱尔兰、苏格兰、英格兰、澳大利亚、新西兰、新加坡，以及日本等国都是靠左侧通行。当习惯右侧通行的人到规定左侧通行的国家时，走路和开车都可能发生危险，反之亦然。到了行驶习惯不同于自己国家的地方时，多年养成的走路和开车习惯会背叛你。习惯右侧走路的人，趋向于在右侧开车，当他们走到十字路口时，趋向于向左看，而实际上车辆是从另一边来的。在两种系统交接的地方，如英吉利海峡，经常发生交通事故，因为司机和行人常忘记通行差别。最好的解决方法是不开车，步行通过路缘前，先向两个方向都看一看。
