Jenny: Hi, I'm Jenny. It's my pleasure to meet you.
David: I am sorry. What is your name, again？
Jenny: Jenny.
David: What's your surname？
Jenny: My surname is William. I'm Jenny William.
David: So Jenny, what do you do for a living？
Jenny: I work at the local school teaching English. What do you do for a living？
David: I'm also an English teacher.

1．英文名字一般都是名在前，姓在后。first name意为“名”，又称作given name。last name又被称作surname或family name，意为“姓”。通常牧师会帮助取一个英文名，如Ashley, Annie, George, Steven等，这种名字称作Christian name（受洗礼时取的名字）。
2．Nice to meet you．这是两位初次见面相识后的用语，意思是“见到你很高兴”。初次见面可由自我介绍、第三者介绍或者询问相识。
