Population

Subject of this study is a sample of Chinese students and Swedish students.The Chinese graduate students chosen to complete the questionnaire are those who are either studying for their M.A.or Ph.D.degrees or have finished theirs and are presently working as post-doctors or as researchers in a Swedish university.The Swedish students chosen to complete the questionnaire are those who have once been to China for academic studies and are presently studying at the same university.Some of the Chinese students who showed an interest in the study were informally interviewed by phone before and after the questionnaire.
