Brinsky had only been unable to refuse McKenna's persuasion, planning to visit and say hello and then leave. However, he was touched by my story and stayed in my company for two days. Therefore, it was generally used in report with special caution. However, Brinsky applied this expression in his report on my company.

Authority of Fortune, the economic magazine, was recognized not only in the United States but also around the world. The phone ran off in my company only after the report was published in the magazine. People who run companies or businesses in the United States often say that as long as their names or reports appeared in Fortune, even a short paragraph, it was the biggest success.

An interview“war” was launched since the coverage appeared in Fortune. Journalists from Time, a magazine belonged to the same company of Fortune, knocked the door. Over two interviews were booked everyday in the following several months. I had to handle my business at night postponed by the interviews, and therefore, I was always lack of sleep. Sometimes, I dozed off when I posed gestures for photographing of the interview.

Calls of congratulations and help followed one after another. I heard a familiar voice from the phone. It was the person who was responsible for loans in a bank where I was desperately required for loans.

“Hello, Mr. Hwang. I am afraid that you are in high demand of funds since you are running such a thriving business? We are ready to offer supports and help. I mean loans with very favorable terms.”

“Thank you, but I remember that when I was in great need of funds before, I got no response from your bank. I am not lack of funds currently while you are calling. So my answer is, I would not bother you.”

I was not sure whether my reply was too abrupt, but I felt happy. I put down the phone and could not help laughing, while my staff were looking at each other, so confused.

Although the meeting with Brinsky almost broke up, it was this meeting that make“TELE VIDEO” a household name. I also met some friends in the economic community because of this report; furthermore, this meeting availed the opportunity for our company to be listed in NASDAQ.

No one will succeed if he or she neglects fate. I cherished fate no less than anyone else. I never consider pros or cons when making friends. According to my philosophy, I never delete a friend once we have become friends. Therefore, I gained and lost fates in my life.
