Fan Changlong Inspected JACW Excavation and Destruction Facility in Harbaling

On May 26,2016, Mr. Fan Changlong, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission（CMC）, paid a visit to inspect safety management in Harbaling, Dunhua, Jilin-the JACW excavation, recovery and destruction site, where he conveyed greetings to Chinese working staff and stressed that Japan should be urged to practically fulfill its obligation by inputting more resources and accelerating destruction progress so as to clear the land as soon as possible for the Chinese people.

Till now, JACW have been found in more than 90 places of 18 provinces, cities or autonomous regions in China, among which, the largest storage is in Harbaling where around 330,000 items JACW are buried and the destruction work is planned to be completed in 2022.
