Abstract

On the condition of the ongoing economic globalization, the continus development of information technology and the coordinate institution between countries gradual optimization, the factors mobility of capital, information and technology continue to strengthen, and accelerate the division of labor beyond national boundaries, make service trade be a greatly push to technological innovation and economic growth. It mainly embody that service import infiltrate manufacture sectors, by way of intermediate inputs of manufacture sectors, the service industry especially high technical content service can largely increase manufacture sectors added value and competitive power, what is the key of manufacture industry upgrading and structural transformation of the economy.

On the basis of the relevant theory literature and the empirical study results, construct the framework of the direct effects theoretical analysis and indirect effects theoretical analysis, by the use of 28 sub-sectors panel data of manufacture sectors from 2001 to 2012 in China, from the point of the technical content of the import in the service trade, and analyze the impact of the technical of the import in the service trade to the efficiency of China's manufacture sectors. The results confirm that, firstly, from the viewpoint of direct effects, the technical content of the import in the service trade can promote the the efficiency of China's manufacture sectors, and the sectors with the higher technical content of the import in the service trade have greater influence on the efficiency of China's manufacture sectors. In addition, the technical content of the import in the service trade have the greatest impact on the technology-intensive sectors, the impact on the capital-intensive sectors, then the labor-intensive sectors. Secondly, from the viewpoint of indirect effects, the technical content of the import in the service trade can also promote the efficiency of China's manufacture sectors, but the sectors with the higher technical content of the import in the service trade have weaker influence on the efficiency of China's manufacture sectors, and the technical content of the import in the service trade have the greatest impact on the capital-intensive sectors, the impact on the labor-intensive sectors, then the technology-intensive sectors. Thirdly, as far as the degree of influence is concerned, the direct effects of the technical content of the import in the service trade have greater than the indirect effects to the efficiency of China's manufacture sectors, and the direct effects and the indirect effects present the nonuniformity development situation.

With the development of manufacturing servitization, seeking the high quality service products from the global scope to make up for the lack of service industry development is a realistic and inevitable choice for developing countries for achieving manufacture sectors upgrading and the transformation of economic development mode. However, when importing the service products, it should lay emphasis on the quality, not only quantity. Therefore, in the import content of service trade, it should lay stress on the service products that is high spillover, high relavant and high integrated. Moreover, human capital is the support of knowledge and technology, the development of high-end service industry and the optimization and upgrading of manufacture sectors can not without the accumulation of high quality human capital, it should strenuously attract global excellent talents to join for market service industry at home and abroad. Furthermore, since service industry always transact some invisible service and promise, the probability of moral hazard and adverse selection would be greatly strengthen. So the key of guarantee China's service industry healthy and rapid growth lies in effectively improve the institution environment of service industry survival and development.
