Sitting on Yellowstone Plateau, Yellowstone National Park is bounded on nearly all sides by mountain ranges of the Middle Rocky Mountains within the state of Wyoming. In Early 20th century, an American explorer once described Yellowstone National Park as "Regardless of how different the sceneries and vegetation are in different countries, the Earth is always so familiar, affable and similar. But here, the Earth has changed so much, as if it is a place belongs to another world. . . . The nature seems testing its own boundless power of creation.”
[Phantasmagoria]
Ice and fire collide with each other in this world. The withered branches, the hazy hot springs and the snow-like sediments constitute this kingdom of fantasy with jagged edges. When looking at this photo, the viewers, I believe, would sympathize what I felt at the scene at that time and, with the interlaced astonishment and bleakness, appreciate the nature's power of creation with great reverence.
