听出某项活动的准确日程安排也是英语听力水平的重要指标之一。日程的安排包括会议、节日、组织旅游、大型活动等。听日程安排最关键的是听出四个要点: when, where, what和why。
一个国家总统常常会公务缠身。从电影《白宫奇缘》(The American President)中,我们可以看到美国总统周一早晨从进入办公大楼,到他的办公室,一路上秘书在告诉他工作日程等事务。
