Princeton University is a vibrant community of scholarship and learning that stands in the nation"s service and in the service of all nations.Princeton University is a private, Ivy League, comprehensive university. It originally established in 1746, is the fourth oldest university in the nation. As the College of New Jersey, the university moved to Newark in 1747, then to Princeton in 1756 and was renamed Princeton University in 1896. Princeton is an independent, coeducational institution that provides undergraduate and graduate instruction in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences and engineering.Princeton University has a wide variety of subjects you can learn.Students graduate with either the Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) or the Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.).Princeton claims to help its students to "achieve at the highest scholarly levels and prepare them for positions of leadership and lives of service in many fields of human endeavor." Princeton is most known for its School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, but also offers a variety of academic programs such as chemical engineering, anthropology, mathematics, physics, religion and many more. Almost three dozen faculty members or alumni have claimed Nobel Prizes in economics, physics and more.
